Finally, after 10 years of hard work and running hostels in Chile, Uruguay and Brazil, we decided to re-open the very first of all Che Lagarto´s Hostels: Buenos Aires!

After 7 years of being highly recommended and learning from you what is it that you are looking for in a Hostel we closed the old Che Lagarto and opened a brand new one with everything you ever wanted in a hostel to be.

We are located in the heart of Buenos Aires City, surrounded by many bars, restaurants, shopping areas, night clubs, museums, markets (within walking distance to San Telmo´s antique and Tango neighbourhood) banks, theatres, cinemas, metro stations, buses, and more.

You asked for cleanliness? Done! Our housekeeping staff works 24/7 to give you the best comfort and leave everything sparkling clean!

Big common areas, kitchen fully equipped for common use, TV room with amazing sofas, nice patio for you to relax, comfortable beds and private bathrooms in every room! Yes, each dorm, double and triple has its own bathroom right there, with 24/7 hot water!

We are located in downtown in a very secure area in BsAs, just 3 blocks from Plaza de Mayo and another 8 from Plaza Dorrego (Santelmo Market).

From the International airport:
Manuel Tienda Leon bus leaves you just at our front-door it will cost you about U$10 or $30 (Argentinean pesos). You will have to give them the hostel address (don?t forget it Venezuela 857).

Taxi US$20 approx, max $ 60 pesos.

From the bus station
You should take a taxi it will cost you about U$2.5
$6 (Argentinean pesos) or you can take the metro , line C till Mariano Moreno and find Venezuela street ( 2 blocks up 9 de Julio ) take the left in Venezuela and walk 1 block and a half, you are here.
